I have been sniping parts for a while now, now finally with the Black Friday discounts, I was able to put together a new machine. Azade as always helped me put it together.
My daughter is explaining what a GPU does.
Put as much on the MoBo as you can before MoBo goes into the case
Fans are attached with rubber screws to reduce vibration.
Replaced the original fans with be quiet fans.
All parts in place.
Everything in working order.
I also snagged an Odyssey+ on the Samsung BF deal. The cable length is ridiculous, but the resolution is amazing.
The only part in this build that I think needs improving is the GPU. The RX 580 is a huge step down from my previous GTX 1070. I will replace it as soon as AMD releases the Vega refresh sometime in Q1 2019.
