Improved Wet Palette and Quartermaster

Last night I painted the Quartermaster from Gloomhaven. After seeing the benefits of the wet palette, I wasn’t going back. So I went out and bought some white Swedish sponge (Those cleaning cloths made of cellulose fiber). I used this instead of the paper towels I used last time. I must say this wasn’t a clear improvement over paper towels. With paper towels I felt like the paints were getting thinned, but they never really dried. With the Swedish sponge the paints stayed consistent for a long time, but they dried up in the end. I think I will stick with the Swedish Sponge setup.

As for the mini, well it took longer than I anticipated. I went to bed at 1 AM… It was a meditative experience as always.
