So we are setting up a lab and are looking at hardware and software for it. While the IT is giving us the go-around treatment (“We want to host vulnerable machines” doesn’t sit well with the IT), I get to play with nice toys.
I checked out the haaukins platform from Aalborg university. It is great, does some cool things, and has some cool training options (although a bit limited compared to some of the others at the moment). The best part is the people who develop it are right here. We get to talk about the project and how to cooperate on it.
So if things work out, we may end up with our own shard of haaukins. Exciting times ahead for us and our students.
